In this part of the world, we cherish culture so much such that even in fashion our diverse cultures  are seen. No matter how widely travelled they are, the Gucci, the prada, the Versace, the crocodile, the chanel is always diced with cultural wears . some designers as well produce clothing and accessories in accordance with the culture of a particular region. People usually adopt a trend in clothing if it concurs with the culture in that area, in muslim states, the north especially, even very fashionable women never wear minis, their culture and doctrine believes in covering up totally. To most people fashion has to reflect who you are . So in this write up I’d be mentioning a few fashion tips for different kinds of people.

The Yoruba and Ibo culture usually allow their females  wear any kind of clothing, leave their hair open in any manner or style.  Even with locally made fabrics, this set of ladies wear any style they want combining with wonderful accessories. This culture also allows to borrow styles and tips from other cultures, for example, some women are interested in Indian style of flowy dress, some even wear Indian sari  in a sassy way other style of clothing which do not necessarily belong to a particular people’s culture might just interest them

 

Hausas, Fulanis, notherners in general prefer clothing that cover in full. Some prefer hijabs of various kinds others scarf , laali drawings also look fashionable on many of them. Suggested fabrics includes silk, cotton, linen, nylon, lace, chinos, lacra (drawy) materials etc
